State of the Industry: Passenger Comfort

Nobody thinks about passenger comfort, unless you want to eat!

As I walked to my plane this morning, I could not help but notice that the NY/NJ Port Authority just wants us to eat. There are few and limited available seating areas in Terminal C on the way to Gate 112. Those rows of uncomfortable seats have given way to iPad staffed waiting areas selling food from various vendors, hence limited waiting areas.

The once wide giant walkways to the gates have been replaced with food service areas; more rental income for The Port Authority and less comfort for the traveler.

And not the best food either!
